'Untitled.' Series' 4,5,6

The following series' of works are various print editorials I have prepared for a proposed exhibition. The first of the three series illustrated below portrays a chromatic colour pop of works. The first shows the print, montaged with tentacles referring to the nature of being adaptable and creative, the second shows a print I had layered repetitively, mirrored and overlaid with a negative filter, I favour this print due to the confined, controlled chaos of the illustration, alongside seeing the reciprocal of the original print.

The last of the series follows the same structure as the first with a darker background, I then relined the whole piece in white in order to allow the design to erupt from the charcoal pigmented surface. The next two series explore Memphis-esc backgrounds inspired mildly by two graphic designers I had mentioned in the blog post 'Disparity Cat.' Again, exploring methods of mirroring and layering alongside amping up the contrast between the the background and the foreground enables the piece to be seen from a distance.
