A series of chromatic prints digitally edited by mirroring the original, some prints overlay the adjacent print from the mirror and others retract and shy away from another. I find this series to be quite mundane in regards to its nature being monotonous. However I am quite fond of the basis of this digitally manipulated series, I find simplicity to work cohesively with the bold nature of the prints design.
The addition of holga effects and mild hue editorial processes influenced the nature of print No. 4. . I embellished the first two prints illustrated below with, mirroring and multi layering, allowing room for contortion. Each series mimics the characteristics of various visual impairments. The first two prints shown below show the lens of binocular diplopia, an ailment which portrays blurred vision and the appearance of more than one object. The third print conjures the fragmentation of macular degeneration and the darkened form stuck within the lens of a diabetic retinopathy patient.
