A three eyed stag intertwined by tentacles sits within a triangle. The triangle is a symbol of manifestation, enlightenment, revelation and a higher perspective; a series of tentacles push through to the outside of the triangle, caressing its frame. As mentioned prior, tentacles are a symbol relating to adaptability and continuity. The stag is an avid symbol of vigilance, regeneration and rebirth. Adorning the head of the stag, a third eye emerges, referring to the opening of inner realms and spaces of higher consciousness. In spirituality, the third eye often symbolizes a state of enlightenment or the evocation of mental images having deeply personal spiritual or psychological significance. Lastly, the sigil marked at the top of the drawing abolishes negativity from tarnishing it.
I had utilised both crosshatching and stippling techniques to render tonal value. Each characteristic sought from the obscure imagery conveyed relates to the strength and adaptability shown by the blind and visually impaired.
