The tentacles refer to the nature of the octopus and the squid, two creatures promotive of adaptability, creativity and resurgence Each characteristic sought from the obscure imagery conveyed relates to the strength and adaptability shown by the blind and visually impaired.
The first four images within the gallery depict varied elevations oft design, providing close ups of the drawings texture. The last five images are digital editorials, exploring mirroring, overlaying, difference and holga effects, all of which mimic the nature of binocular diplopia and hallucinatory eye ailments such as diabetic retinopathy.
