Illustrated below is an oeuvre of digitally manipulated and misconstrued images, I had experimented with the use of collage and utilised the liquify tool in order to convey a juxtaposition of separated images, allowing there to be a caricature of ambiguity, adorned by the appearance of motion within a still image. I combined two images, 2 1/2 frames from each, depicting an amalgamation which, like many of my previous endeavours imitates the nature of various eye ailments, this particular experiment renders a portrayal of macular degeneration and macular diplopia (doubled vision).
Overall I found this experiment to have been a success, the addition of reds, blues and greens allows there to be further narration of depth and provokes the images from being devoid of colour. Though working chromatically can be beneficial given the conspicuous imagery that can be proposed, I found the addition of these colours to enhance the overall composition further. If I were to do this again, I would attempt to balance the images out more; I have noticed the majority of the features shown through each image are leaning predominantly to the left of the subject, something of which disqualifies balance.
The original none filtered (by colour) images have been provided below alongside an experiment I found to be distasteful given its jagged profile (image No.7) Image No.10 is another I had initially thought to be distasteful, though upon further inspection I find the burnt, pixelated pattern to mimic that of the bleaching over photographs, alongside the sporadic patterning of macular degeneration and diabetic retinopathy.
