Sensory Stimulation

Exhibiting work which stimulates as many if not all of the senses is of great importance to me. I have collected sea water and dried lavender to smell, shells, sand, and seaweed to touch and interact with. These objects connote toward the environments of the paintings and prints that I have and hope to continue to create. It's one thing to look at something, but I want my audience to transcend into another realm and live within the composition. Touch is imperative within my work, encouraging the audience to elaborate upon a piece through experiencing the visual narrative is crucial.

In an exhibitory format I would have these displayed over a table, making accessibility to the audience a priority.
