Only a small number of digital editorials have been commenced for this particular print, the reason being my distaste to the outcome... Referring to inking issues and the abandonment of the nose. However, the digital editorials shown again as most of my work does, lends an empathetic lens to the sighted, to become accustomed to the lens of various visual impairments.
The first of the series depicts a mirrored image, connected as one by an eye to the centre acting as the focal point of the composition, though not intentional, the white depicted within the centre of the first image, outlined by the shadows of the rest of the illustration shows a reciprocal silhouette of a rhinoceros, an animal representative of stamina, sturdiness, substance, strength, and resilience, alongside being very poorly sighted. The latter of the images refer to binocular diplopia (doubled vision) and the conjunction of overlaying the same image.
