The following set of series are digitally manipulated through the use of holga effects and editorial processes. I had also embarked upon using the motion drag tool and the swirl tool, as well as continuing my layering process. I embellished the prints show below with holga effects, wash overs, and methods of contortion. I had selected areas of the prints I wished to ensue motion and dragged to the desired area. Each series mimics the characteristics of various visual impairments. The first two prints shown below show the illustration through the lens of binocular diplopia, an ailment which portrays the appearance of more than one object. The third print conjures the fragmentation of macular degeneration and the darkened form stuck within the lens of a diabetic retinopathy patient, rather than being adorned by a blob, a square sits in its place.
